Sending Your SLS Scores

During registration, you can identify up to four institutions or licensing agencies to receive your SLS scores for free. If you want to make changes to your free score recipients, do so at least 3 days before your test date. Within 3 days of your test or after you test, you can request additional score reports for a fee.

Automatic score reporting

If you test in one of the following states or territories, a copy of your scores is automatically sent to that state’s teacher credentialing agency. You don’t need to select it as one of your score recipients.

If the state you test in is different from the state to which you’ll apply for certification or isn’t on the list below, list the state as a score recipient in order for a score report to be sent to the state's teacher credentialing agency.

Ordering additional score reports

Your SLS scores are valid for 10 years, and you can order additional score reports at any point during that period. Each report costs $50 per score recipient and is nonrefundable.

You can order additional score reports online, by phone or by mail/fax. Additional score reports are issued within 5–7 calendar days for online and phone requests, and 10 business days for mailed or faxed requests.
